Building Kash’s Legacy
Kash’s first crop is especially meaningful because it brings together horses that have already been such an important part of my own journey. One of his first foals will be out of our own mare Hellow Darlin, a Congress and NSBA World Champion. Another is out of the dam of our gelding, Jus Be Good, a Congress, NSBA and AQHA World Champion, as well as a multiple futurity champion.
Being able to breed mares that mean so much to us personally to our own stallion makes this first crop incredibly special. There’s so much history and so many memories behind these crosses, and now we get to see what the next generation brings. To us, that’s what building Kash’s legacy is really about.

What we look for in a mare
“I’m pretty particular when it comes to conformation.”
Each mare is thoughtfully considered before breeding. We look at the whole mare—her conformation, movement, temperament, accomplishments and pedigree—with the goal of creating a cross that complements both the mare and Kash.
She’s a non-pro herself, and that matters to her here.
“I want to produce something special, fancy and talented, but also kind, willing and enjoyable for a non-pro. I’m a non-pro myself, so that’s really important to me. I want horses that people like me can enjoy and be successful with. I always say I’m looking for that unicorn, so I’m going to do everything I can to create them.”
