Each year, the program will provide financial assistance to selected exhibitors competing at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, helping offset some of the expenses that come with showing at this level.
Recipients will be chosen through an application process that looks beyond show records and accomplishments. We want to hear about the person, the horse, their goals, and what the opportunity to compete would mean to them.
There is no requirement to own or show a Kash Money offspring. Kash to Kompete is simply our way of giving back to an industry that has given us so much, and hopefully helping a few more people get the chance to chase something they’ve worked hard for.
How it works
Who can apply: non-pro exhibitors, amateur or youth. No trainers or professionals.
The award: $1,000 toward show fees, paid directly to the show office.
First year: three recipients
The year after: five recipients, $1,000 each
