Special Since The Day He Was Born
Kash was bred by Wayne and Judy Davis. When he was born, Wayne called his daughter, Katy Jo Zuidema, and told her she had to come see this baby. Coming from her dad, Katy Jo knew that meant he was special.

How Kash Found Us
Amanda had mentioned it once, in passing, to her trainer, Scott Suggs that someday, she and Tim would love to own a stallion. Neither of them imagined that dream would become a reality quite so soon.
In August 2025, the air conditioning went out at their home in Naples, Florida, right in the middle of a kitchen remodel. When Scott texted Amanda to let her know he was flying to Ocala for the weekend, she asked if she could tag along rather than stay at a hotel while the air conditioning was being repaired.
That simple decision would change everything.
When they arrived at the farm, Kash was brought out for Amanda to see. She was immediately impressed by him, and when they let her ride him, she knew there was something special about this horse. She texted Tim right away to tell him she had just ridden the nicest horse she had ever seen.
That evening over dinner, Amanda asked Katy Jo if she would ever consider selling Kash. He wasn't for sale, but the conversation opened the door to a possibility neither Amanda nor Tim had expected.
Amanda sent Tim the video of Kash and explained what had happened. They already had five horses, so she fully expected Tim to pass on the opportunity. Instead, his response was simple:
Yes.
What Amanda didn't know was that Tim had turned up the volume on the video. In the background, he could hear Scott talking to Katy Jo about Kash. Almost under his breath, Scott said:
“This is the nicest horse I think I've ever seen in my life.”

For Tim, hearing those words only reinforced what Amanda had already felt in the saddle. What began as an unexpected weekend trip to Ocala had opened the door to an extraordinary opportunity—and the beginning of Kash's next chapter with Amanda and Tim.
Congress 2025
We wanted to purchase Kash before Congress, trusting in what we already saw in Kash and believing in everything he had the potential to become. Everything came together quickly and seamlessly. Just a short time later, Kash stepped into the show pen for the very first time at the 2025 All American Quarter Horse Congress, where he was named Reserve Champion in the 2-Year-Old Maiden Open Hunter Under Saddle Futurity.

His mind
One day in Texas, Amanda was riding her mare in a pen alongside several other mares in the pasture nearby, with Kash standing quietly in the middle. When it was Kash’s turn, Amanda climbed aboard, and he simply went to work. Calm, focused and completely unfazed, he handled it all like it was just another day.
Kash’s incredible mind is simply who he is. He’s calm, willing and trusting, with a naturally kind nature that we hope he passes on to every generation that follows.

Kash Money Pedigree
There are some legendary horses behind Kash, and his pedigree speaks for itself.
His sire, Hot N Blazing, is an AQHA World Champion and Congress Champion in Junior Hunter Under Saddle, an AQHA Reserve World Champion and Congress Champion in Junior Western Riding, and an NSBA Hall of Fame inductee. He went on to become an incredible sire, with offspring earning more than $1.4 million and 43,000 AQHA points, including numerous AQHA and NSBA World Champions.
Kash’s dam, Just Like June, was pretty remarkable in her own right. By Just Like Detail, a son of Last Detail, June dominated the Hunter Under Saddle futurities. She is the only horse to win the 2-Year-Old, 3-Year-Old and Maturity Hunter Under Saddle in consecutive years at the Tom Powers Futurity. And she wasn’t just a great Hunter Under Saddle horse, she went on to become an AQHA World Champion over fences.
Kash has generations of great horses behind him. It’s old-school blood, proven blood, and a pedigree filled with horses that made their mark.
Amanda grew up reading The Equine Chronicle and The Quarter Horse Journal, always following the big-name stallions. She loved Last Detail and Blazing Hot and remembers following Hotrodders Jet Set, too. Now, all these years later, those same horses are in Kash’s pedigree. For Amanda, that’s pretty special.
